A History of Tradition
Freemasonry is one of the world's oldest and most respected
fraternal organizations. For more than 300 years, our worldwide
fraternity has brought together like-minded people committed to
bettering themselves and their communities.
Established in The Dalles in 1867, Wasco Lodge No. 15
has met in the historic Second Wasco County Courthouse since 1929.
For more than 150 years, we have proudly served our community,
making us one of Oregon's longest-standing Masonic lodges.
Dedication to our Community
Freemasons take an obligation to support those around them. Our
members give back in a multitude of ways, from individual efforts
to local charity drives to statewide initiatives through Oregon
Masonic Charities Foundation, Masonic Aid, Bikes for Books, First
United Methodist Church's Backpack Program, The Dalles Art
Association's Summer Art Camp, Adventist Hospital's Books for
Kids, Columbia Gorge Orchestra Association, and more.
In 2020, the lodge was honored by the Mid-Columbia Health
Foundation as Outstanding Philanthropy Group for their
community impact.
